Wrapped in Winter

Ghosts rhythmically dance as I exhale.
Dark lashes glisten; gift of a breeze.
Dawn drains grayness in colors pale
patterning my warm winter frieze.

Author notes

frieze - a heavy woolen fabric with a long nap; neck scarf.

Couldn't pass up a good pun

    I love that winter picture!

Short, sweet and sassy in a seasonal sense. Silly, to surrender to snow's senseless insanity. Winter is soon to be upon us. Might as well enjoy it!

    Beautiful picture
    and the piece falls suit
I love winter - not so much the cold
and not so much the snow (I hate the sound of crunching snow)
But it's the beauty of it
    that keeps me in awe!
    Very beautifully penned hun
    good luck to you
