When this all started,
you called me names,
you always kicked me down,
then you kicked me even harder when I was on the ground.
You thought I was better than you,
you needed less competition,
even though you were always,
on top of me.
You always boss me around,
now it is my turn,
just shut up,
and let me be on my way.
You never gave me a chance,
to explain myself,
when something went wrong,
you always complained the I was just a kid.
I did nothing to deserve,
what happened tonight,
why wont this pain go away,
I will not make a sound again.
Now I know,
that friends can't be trusted,
they will stab me in the back,
even if they are my best friends.
I am not perfect,
know you see,
I don't need you to show me,
what to do.
You do not know,
what it is like,
to be me,
when you do tell me.
When you have had everything,
torn from underneath you,
when you have no where to turn,
I will be proud to say,
Welcome to my life...

Okay so I did this poem on option 3. I was writing about a band that inspired me. And Simple Plan was the one that I could relate the most to the songs.

I saw them a couple saturdays ago. And fell down in front of about 200-300 people. -thinks back-
This was an amazing poem and i can definatly see their inspiation there. They are an aamzing band and so great for inspiration. I really do love them. Was a really well thought out and put together poem. I congradulate you. I liked the flow, what it was about and the simple plan inspiation part

um...i don't think you read the option right, by "band" i meant Within Temptation. so sorry, but i'm DQing this.
however, having said that - nice poem. i do like Simple PLan.
