of time
and the transformation that is death.
i am the change
that reveals the caterpillar
into the butterfly.
i am the change that reveals
the liquid to gas.
i am the change that makes you lose yourself
to become yourself.
without me
there is no revelation.
without this sacrifice
there would never be
your second chance.
decay and rot
recycle and release
i am the fungus
that decomposes
your flesh
and turns it
back to the earth
break the mold
to dissintergrate into yourself
you may call this life
but remember that ghost
that lives within you.

I liked the form and the concept
Their are some lines I question. Time and death are masculine gods: Chronos. Saturn, Father Time, Grim Reaper. "I am the change that turns the liquid into gas" seems weak as an example of death, change and transformation. The last three lines are not a strong enough ending for the train of thought. I enjoyed your write and would like you to take it to a highter level.

yup yup they are masculine except there is a goddess named Kali who is the goddess of time and death. am i allowed to edit this? (to fix the last lines)
