Love, when you drink
you take me through
so many unnecessary changes...
Has it no positive side?
nothing to offset the ramble?
None at all...absolutely none
I am outdone, humiliated, ashamed...
You laugh like an hyena
you're more aligned to the floor
than the ceiling
All I ask of you, deary me
is some small portion of restraint
What's wrong with just good old fashioned banter?
Soft jokes, sentences that carry more than one word?
I'm ever so tired of your party antics...
you know, you don't have to be 'the' life of the party
at every party hahaha let others try their hand
I hear you, but, don't you sometimes vicariously enjoy me?
hahaha, I mean, who else gets you so stirred up?
Who else has your dried out sense of humor-you know you love it
Love it?
Yes, the 'dry' humor bits
Well, I never
Actually you do...hahhaaha
for I bounce everything off of you(quiet as its kept)
So just keep smiling...we'll get through this together
for...whatever would you do without me?
I'm your echo, your reflection, your sounding board....
What I do, you do, capeche?
Just tone it down a few notches is all I'm asking..
is that so much to ask of you?
Next party...I'll let you flow, okay?
Whatever...
