She is such a Barbie doll
with her bottled hair color
and a tan with no lines
All the men stop and stare
There's another side
that no one knows about
A murder, no witness
no weapon, no alibis
The detective so suave
lights his cigarette
tries to see past
All of her beauty

or made her wait in the rain
She's never slept alone
and he wasn't gonna be the first
She drops her lipstick
and bends over to reach it
turning around, teasingly
she notices, he's watching
He will find out, what I mean

If he seems the least uninterested
He'll be the next to go down
Everyone knows she can be persuasive
She lures him in, with her wicked smile
He surrenders, forgets about the case
She's getting away with murder...
