Wow honey would you believe it?
Today is 17 years from we made our vows,
From we both became one,
Where does the time go?
I really could not have asked for a better husband,
Someone to love me, hold me and not let me go,
Your love is so true no matter even if I’m blue,
The past 17 years have been such a blessing,
Yes we have had our up’s and down’s,
Then again who doesn’t?
Though as each day has passed our love has become stronger,
It really does feel like yesterday,
From we became man and wife,
Two hearts beating as one,
When I think of all the tears of sadness I have cried,
Throughout the years of my depression,
You holding me tight… letting me know I am not alone,
I thank God for guiding us together my love,
It didn’t matter to you that back then,
I was told I couldn’t have any kin,
I will always remember your words to me,
“As long as we have each other”
Those words will always stay close to my heart,
And now, well we proved the doctors wrong,
And now have 2 beautiful daughters,
Who we love and treasure,
So my love on this day,
I want to say,
I love you so dearly,
And thank you for each and every day,
I truly am proud to be your wife,
And will be for the rest of my life,
I am proud to call you my husband,
My soul mate, my right arm,
I know in my heart is eternal.
