Why can’t you just be yourself?

Why can’t you just be yourself?
Why do you feel the need to be someone else?
Is life not hard enough?
You have a husband and 3 beautiful children,
I don’t understand why you need to try to be us?
The mind boggles to be honest,
You have your own mind,
You are your own person,
So what is it?
Why would you even want to be me?
God knows I don’t even want to be,
And now you try to be my sister in law,
I don’t get it,
Why can’t you just be you?
Without the need to be each of us?
Is it that you are trying to prove something?
Why do you get so angry?
So many why’s go through my mind,
Each of us is individual,
Each having our own personality,
This is something that is really confusing me,
Something I really can not get my head around,
I just pray that you really do find your own ground.
