Cold stinging touch
Breezes on my skin
Shocking Hazel eyes
Lock onto mine
His glare inescapable
Just as our fate
Lives intertwined
When we first met
How is it true
The coal eyed god
I met that rainy day
Would now whisper in my ear~
“I love you,” Melodisticly
Spoken, it slurred out gracefully
So perfect
Stone cold start touching
My ivory skin
To animate his curiosity
His eyebrow rose
Hazel beads look back into my eyes
But why does this vampire hold me now
As if locked, we stand
My skin worming
The heart that doesn’t beat
No rhythmic beat of
A thudding heart
No warm hand
To interlock with mine
Just godly touch
To shock me with his
Marble hands
I can’t even hear his words now~
Just the tone of
His voice, the Alluring sound
That dazzles my senses
Gravity pushes me
He’s there to catch me
Tone gone from sweet to concerned
Our eyes seem to be locked in
A game of wits
If only I could look in his eyes forever

I liked this. I think it is a good characterization of both Bella and Edward.
Thank you for entering and good luck.

It's lovely. You are being detail about Edward through Bella's eyes. Nice work. In a sense, it doesn't catch my mind. Overall, good job Good luck

Only just started with the series itself, but it transfixed me and these words do also. I love how you bring the melody and almost song tone to the vampires voices, from a human perspective, which makes me know that Bella is still 'mortal' as it were. It brings understanding to the words 'brutal beauty'. Nicely phrased.

This was very well written. I think it does a great job of capturing the esense of Edward's and Bella's relationship in Twilight.
