So many twists so many turns
the heart jumps, the stomach burns.
Attempting to reach life's destination,
moving forward, with anticipation!
Forward toward the ever glowing light,
the only encouragement to keep in sight.
The everlasting promise of the Lord,
within the heart a living cord,
strenghthening right to the end
growing brighter after each bend.
God grants me courage, strength and power
that as I go along my way I do not waver.
Keeping alight the truth he gave
his son was crucified for us to save!!!
So onward moving I keep in mind
to be alert and the lost to find.
With God and Holy spirit my treasured guide,
Jesus walking closely by my side,
I encounter each bend with confidence
until I am in His eternal presence.
