White night, Kitzbuhl

Missing image
July
pulls overnight
snow down upon mountains
through glass roofing to our bed and
delight.

You won't believe this but I've been to Kitzbuhl - well, the one in Austria at the foot of the Alps!! Now you've taken me way way back in time, Ron.

This is a lovely cinquain, soft and romantic as a winter night. Aaah, i wish for snow here in sunny South Africa, lol. Loved the sense of warmth here among the snow. Thank you for this entry!

      Thank you.

Did you have a glass ceiling with the Alps almost falling in on you and the moon glistening on snow and someone to cuddle into?

      Thank you.

My wife and I woke up during the night. The moon was shining on the fresh snow of peaks just above us, it seemed, and to behold it all through slanted glass roofing is the most romantic marriage-bed experience we have had.
