Conquering Devils

Missing image
Spiritual hands parted water's path
As castle of dreams beckoned from her mind
Unknowingly her devils held back their wrath
Into past torment she was walking blind.

From afar she viewed her castle so fine
They secretly watched, waiting to attack
But twinges of doubt trickled down her spine
And suddenly she saw a castle dark.

Innocence rallied in purity's voice
Her love reached out in powerful sway
Banishing evils haunting for so long
In gentle demeanour she sang love songs.

Queen of the ocean in castles of light
Taking her throne of magical delight.

I don't think there is anything you can't write, you have such an expansive knowledge of the english language and everything to do with poetry. I am left in awe, wishing for a fraction of your talent. Best to you in the contest
