Denied Sanctuary

Am here alone;
Or are we all the same?
Did I do something wrong?
Or is there someone to blame?
The sky is my shelter and solitary sentinel;
My denied sanctuary of unconditional asylum
The naked clouds I endlessly see
Floating freely, unrestrained
I wish that cloud was me.

    I found myself unable to take my eyes off the screen and I got a little upset the poem was over and just keep reading it; I was so enchanted with the desire to be the cloud above

    Beautifully sad!

    Another excellant write

    Hey Yotta lovely job, it really grabs my imagination.
    My only sanctuary is my imagination, and God. No matter how someone or something tries to take away your freedom they can not bind your mind and heart. They can also never separate you from God's love my friend.
