frigid heartbeat

Cold winter days bring me closer into your arms.

Frigid temperatures become faint once the warmth

of your touch finds me.

On my toes, I stand to reach, to find, that smile

that I love of yours.

Hold me close and be all that I need.

I love the winter and what this season brings.

Of all the ice and snow, the things most people

wait all year for - I don't.

I have you,

now I'm satisfied.

This is based off of my real life feelings, although in this one, I wrote it from the girl's perspective.
