I am a singer and an actress to
I wonder how and what to do
I hear the wonderful sounds of friends around me
I see everyone and evrything in beauty
I want to be all I can be for you
I am a singer and actress to
I pretend that I can fly
I feel so wonderful like a star in the sky
I touch the clouds before I fall to the ground
I worry that I will never be found
I cry at the thought that I will be lost to you
I am a singer and actress to
I understand all dreams may not come true
I say this as I confide in you
I dream of holding the world in my hand
I try to explain and hope you understand
I hope you believe in everything I do
I am a singer and actress to
Rachel
( marshall's girl friend )
please tell me anything you think about it.....

this is a wonderful write - it shouts self-confidence and self-affirmation. The repeated recourse to the "I", the singing and the acting lends itself to an interesting critique of identity being a question of performance. metrically, it could be altered to flow a bit better, for example the omission of the second 'be' on line 5; and yet, then again, it does reemphasize the concern of identity and manner of existence.
