The Background Contest for our group has been judged! You all did a wonderful job. "I Love TeddyBears", (#10) won by a landslide. Then it was "background for disability group", which was number 2 - but that one is by an editor (me - lol's) and cannot be a finalist. Then, it was "Autumns Warp",(#4) which is absolutely stunning and, finally, "Cats Meow" (#5). All of the rest received honorable mention, except for any other entries by editors since they cannot receive an award as a judge. Numbers 1, 7 and 8 received a vote each. That was "Flying Free Background," "Krishna Flower Background Lavender," and "Friends."
It is the general consensus that "I Love TeddyBears" is the official holiday background and that number 2 ("background for disability group"), will be our generic background and the others used seasonally and for a change.
Thank you to everyone who participated. It was fun and we learned a lot. I know I did. We did a great job. A special thanks to Theresa for holding this contest! Love and hugs, Karen, Theresa and Doris. -
