"Stuck in the middle
nowhere to go
People everywhere staring at me
stuck here
in a moment in time
Skirt blowing over my head
as the wind swept me into
the laughing crowd"
The laughing,
sounds like a thousand bells ringing,
I can't be sure though,
because the blood is pounding in my ears.
I push my skirt back down,
hold it there with my hands,
my face is red,
I'm blushing so hard.
People are still laughing,
while another burst of wind comes,
I am holding my skirt with all my might,
while I took off.
My hands still grabbing my skirt,
I make my way out of the laughing crowd,
There are some idiotic whistles as I walk by,
I just ignore them and keep my head up high.
To this day,
I still laugh about that,
I still wont wear a skirt while walking,
even if it is not windy out.

LOL very much the truth believe it or not. However I am a bit of a daredevil and would have no trouble saluting the audience and turning it into a joke. Too many years in Show Biz I guess.
thanks for entering.
