Remember those years,
they seem so long ago,
when we used to be friends;
where did those days go?
Running bare foot,
singing stupid songs,
fighting all the time
even when we were wrong.
Seeing all the movies,
late midnight calls,
sleepovers on Fridays,
and going to the mall.
Acting silly in public,
asking random questions,
trying to fly far away,
and making stupid suggestions.
We had our own little world,
where nothing could harm us,
but then it just disappeared,
and reality made us adjust.
We went separate ways,
and I guess grew apart;
but just to let you know,
I always kept you in my heart.

i had a dream about this last night and i got bored in world history and this is what i came up with

You pinned adolescence right on the head. We all grow up sometime, even though some of us try to hold on to our childhood far too long (I still have mine!!). Its sad when you look back on those days, but its just a part of life. Keep getting bored in world history.
