I have not lived
A hundred years
Or seen a thousand skies
Merely I have
Lived but one
Insignificant life
And for all the steps
And all the stumbles
I've had along the way
The world keeps spinning
The sun keeps rising
Life dawns another day
(Thanking you in my own way)
Author notes
seeing old castles make me thing of times gone past and things like this. I'm not sure if this fits, but I hope it does.

Very nice. Simple but meaningful. I especially liked the last three lines.
I've had feelings like this before too, when I was looking at old ruins, or old mountains, and things like that.
Keep writing good poems!
