Stuck in the middle
nowhere to go
People everywhere staring at me
stuck here
in a moment in time
Skirt blowing over my head
as the wind swept me into
the laughing crowd
Stockinged legs showing
up to the top
Blushing down to the roots of my hair
Oh my
I have to recover
Regaining my composure
I lift my head high
jutting chin to the sky
Jauntily walking
a smile on my face
A man lets out a long wolf whistle
I bow
Marilyn Monroe
could not have pleased this crowd
As much as I
The star of the stage
A girl began clapping
for she understood
The applause soon caught on
and spread
Standing ovation
The crowd wanted more
so I twirled around
all dainty and lithe
While lifting my skirts
to once more reveal
the tempting sight of my legs
I tripped
over a small dog
and sprawled over the floor
Legs all akimbo
Now the folks roared
I had just made their day!

Yeah. That's a brilliant ending! The humor completes this piece.
I saw this contest too
And commented about Marilyn Monroe! Either great minds think alike, or something else
Lol Good luck in this contest.
