Love of my life
Or used to be
I'm not a joke...but may be a fool
But you will find that I think free
I sat very still
While you whispered in my ear
I didn't even wince when you kissed me
As you drew me so near
I knew by the look within your eyes
That your love was not sincere
Your actions were very rude
When you held me near
So I have some news for you
Something you won't want to hear
When you were whispering to me
I had removed my hearing aid from my ear
