Believing you could love me,
I was a joke to you –
but now I am no fool.
Your hallow words,
whispered to her, and I.
Bed hopping was your game,
we were only your conquests -
just another notch on your belt.
Playing chess can be fun,
especially when you became –
our pawn.
Moral of the story,
treat women with love;
for then they will love back.
