Cold granite marks the spot,
luminous green grass the plot,
Icy fingers crush daisies she'd love.
Gray clouds cover azure blue,
My heart screams, I miss you,
Her eyes matched the azure above.
Rain soaked tears slide down pale cheeks,
Laughter echoes in silent streets.
the breeze mourns, she was once there.
I held her hand, she slipped from me,
Now only, her bright memory.
Skin soaked, too numb to care.
Crushed yellow daisies float down,
slowly to the wet ground.
A promise, I will return,
Emotions churn,
Tomorrow is another day,
I still have more to say.
Clouds part, azure shines through,
Her eyes whisper back, I miss you too.

This was just so sad and deep, i can't say more for your notes cleared everything to me and as I read it again it brought tears to my eyes...
Life goes on and those we love and depart are always in our hearts and souls.
best wishes.
