First Frost's Morning

Crisp air tingles the nostrils
causing tiny hairs to freeze.
A cold kiss to the cheeks
from icy lips of wind.
Feathery crystals on
the whole of nature's skin.

That is indeed how it feel on those really cold mornings, there is a strange invigorating feeling too it...at least for a few moments, then I want to get back inside and sit near my wood stove. Nicely done.

    "cristles?" Do you mean crystals?
