Amidst rolling hills of emerald green
in the County Cork they say,
sits the ruins of castle Grande
bereft glory of long past day.
High atop its battlements
a place for crowning Kings
is a magical stone of legend
one kiss, its luck will bring.
All the locals tell this tale
for the tourist ear to catch.
Just one kiss on the blarney stone
and it’s good luck, you will fetch.
They snicker and laugh at the local pub
as they send tourists on their way
in search of the stone and the lucky kiss
from which, the locals shy away.
Late at night when the pub shuts down
local drunks, in mischief’s bliss
make their way, to the Blarney Stone
and upon that stone, they’ll piss!
Laughing as they head for home
with their bladder, a bit more light
picturing tourists with chaffing lips
is such a very funny sight.

Quite an enjoyable read and not what I expected from the title. It flows really well, as has been mentioned in older comments, and I scored it high on contest relevance.

Hi. Thanks for entering my contest and good luck! I’ve decided to use a slightly edited version of my friend Arkbear’s grading scoreboard to help me judge this contest. I hope he doesn’t mind. It’ll aid me in organizing my thoughts and judging fairly versus randomly. I hope you enjoy it and find it helpful. Writers with the highest possible points out of 80 will obviously win

Title Appeal: 9.85 – Love it Very creative and definitely makes me want to take a peek inside.
Poem Flow: 9.65 – Excellent flow. Meter is off in only a few spots. Lack of punctuation in some spots made for a quicker read than necessary.
Depth: 9.75 – Imagery is rich and the impact was superb. I’ll be remembering this one, so great depth here!
Emotional Impact: 9.25 – I was wondering where you were going with this. Didn’t know how the title fit in until the end. I laughed out loud! Nice job!
Spelling and Grammar: 10 – YAY!
Punctuation and Caps: 7.8 – Your caps are just fine, as is your internal punctuation, but I would’ve definitely added some more external punctuation.
Presentation: 10 – Nothing more to say here.
Personal Appeal: 9.5 – Loved this humor. Difficult to make me laugh, so this was nicely creative!
My score: 75.80/80.00
