Captured in Time

Missing image
Whispered secret's drip from carefully laid concrete layers;
history stored within old architecture, crafted with sweat & tears,
brought to life by bodies of laughter & sadness.

Ivy creeps curiously, clinging to tales shared,
by echoes that traipse through out the halls,
falling upon willing ears.
A grand masterpiece cemented in time,
standing strong, as if saluting, screaming creativity,
from its very core.
Mysteriously shrouded by ancient friends,
their leaves waving a greeting as gentle breezes, pass by.

    A complicated poem, great use of imagery, calmly and vividly...you give life and a story to the pic. "screaming creativity"...wow...your whole poem blended into personifications..great job. Not sure of a few words need replacement...although other words usage works very well. Good luck in the contest
