Mighty eagles soar and bank
Far above our lives below.
None in heav'n above them rank;
Perhaps to them our thoughts we show.
Far and wide our footsteps trace,
Climbing paths to unknown ends.
Frightful vistas we embrace,
Hoping we can make amends.
