The others stand in righteous anger still,
Where news reporters put on a good show,
And US soldiers always pays that bill.
This aid and comfort sends a wicked chill,
Incredible the little that they know,
The others stand in righteous anger still.
The soldier not the poet takes the hill,
To fight for freedom everywhere they go,
And US soldiers always pays that bill.
In defense of the weak their blood does spill,
With no one there it was not done for show,
The others stand in righteous anger still.
There times where he is killed or he must kill,
An awfully large burden to bestow,
And US soldiers always pays that bill.
With honor they have duties to fulfill,
In mountains in the deserts or in snow,
The others stand in righteous anger still,
And US soldiers always pays that bill.

It is and always will be, as we both know to well
when voices speak of war it is rarely the one who stand his watch who has the most to say.
A wonderful poem and a tribute to everyone who walked the mile in fear, but with commitment

I am just
a poet and a lover anymore.
I am so removed by preference -
it is like bad dreams when just a boy.
But; I do remember those dreams...
Others are living those nightmares now.
Thank you Legend.
