Mortal Passion

Wrap your self around me
Engulf me in your arms
And feel the pulse of my desire
Oh, touch me now, my love

Kiss the breath of passion’s fire
Soft against my skin
Acquit me from this torment
That burns so deep within

Take the flower from this garden
The orchid of my youth
And release the cry of doves
Beneath thy crescent moon

Light this night on fire
From whence this flame began
In the heat of mortal passion
Between this woman
And this man

    Very different

I love all sorts of poems but those that rhyme appeal to me because I really believe that it is not as simple as some people think it is. We can all rhyme but we can't all do it well. I like this story and the way it flows and ends.

    This is hot.

I'm going to have to take my shirt of when reading this one. JK LOL This one is very expressive. I can feel the love burning in your soul. This is so great. I wish I could write about passion as brilliantly as you.
