Welcome home

All I wish, this night,
is to boldly dream,
just once more, again.
Un-bled, alive,
revived and un-tamed.
No longer blistered
by damnations toll.
Peeling through the layers
of fine flesh, whole,
tormented no more.
All I wish…
is to re-claim…my life,
shed, to be…the love
I have never known,
….me….

Great group, thankyou for sharing them with us!
I used a broad paintbrush for this poem,
to portray the imagery and voice she boldly sang
and echoed aloud! (reminded me of my daughter's struggle thru addiction)
