Alone I traveled, for a time
Scurried along, in the wind
Blanketed in warm sunshine
I settled down, and fell asleep.
Once in a barren land, my heart
Showered in moist sweet kisses
Now held by your hand
In the sheerness of our bloom.
Without you, I am merely
An encapsulated seed
Now that you are with me
Our life begins to breath.
Seeking shelter in your shade
A hidden smile is displayed
Eternal heavens bless me so
You, my love, so dear to behold.

How clever to think of love as a little egg that hutches in due course and blooms like a flower
but what if! when it hutches, out of it comes a monster with ten heads better find out where the exit is and run fast before it bites you
The saying "ones bitten twice shy" has some value and a warning to most.
Sentimental write as Brabhu said, never the less sentiments come from either sides
I must say you penned a good write as always
Take care.

Humm..this is a sweet sentiment shared with the beloved ..just pure and just an innocent...without the element of pain..a great sharing indeed...
