Things Are A Changing

King of the hill

Lord of the land

This is the place

I'm making a stand

No more bag lunches

Nor will I beg

I'm now in charge

Or I'll bite your leg!

I'll sit up front

where I'll have a view

I'll speak when I want

without orders from you

I'll be my best friend

no more to be yours

And I'll sleep inside

you get the outdoors

Now you fetch the paper

my slippers and beer

Roles are reversed

things are changing around here!

Oh how the tables have turned! Wonderfully worded and rhymed. Great sense of humor that challenges the natural order. Well done and many thanks for entering into the contest,
    Be well and be blessed,
