My heart is ever in my home,
safe and true to breathless blue,
where Colorado sighs a changing season.
There is need, savoring grace,
my inspiration spilling line in tropical distance,
where sky meets sea i
n waves of grass,
skirt low on hips of shimmered ocean.
Each day is antiquated anniversary,
something older, blushed in borrowed skin,
baring loneliness,
death and birth,
marriage or divorce,
idea spinning wordless yarn
to feathered touch of rain descending,
Ulalena rain of maiden, Maui.
Hawaii rushes coconut drum
through heaven's hollow,
reverberating rhythm in carnal craving,
bikini baring curve worth saving,
sandy eyes of browner flavor swimming black hair,
swaying bubbled beauty.
I am far from horse,
and chosen country,
volcano snorting strings of passion,
these earthen goddesses,
Pele's prouder dance, as humid heritage,
tiki terraces tracing treasure
in legs of weaving ways to pleasure.
In the end, I love the fantasy,
limbs entwining hope
and wildness,
where love is time of now,
not never,
and beat is breath in trade-wind wave,
to surf, forever.

Seems like a good place to be and if one can't be there to write yourself a dream holiday, the waves, the palms, the surf and sand and sun. Lovely personification here too...a blissful retreat and beautifully written, my friend..
