Hard to say (#15)

When this was said and done,
and we were sitll kicking our selfs,
we knew what we should have said.

The goodbyes and goodnights,
the I love yous and I hate yous,
they just were not right.

The things we felt,
and never said,
should have been our last words.

Now that time has passed,
I think i'm ready,
read my lips,

I'M REALLY SORRY!

    I like the honest of this poem
    The emotions penned capture the essence of how a lot of relationships are and how they end up, unfortunately

    Good poem
