Entertaining Angels Unaware

They waltz here amongst us,
Anonymously leaving gifts.
Sailing silently in on star dust,
Bequeathing gifts in our midst.

Secret Angels of good fortune,
I am so honored to have known.
Grant me gifts seeming foreign,
Leading my heart to overflow.

Such intentions of affections,
Always leaves me wondering why?
How I deserve such confections,
Of sweet angels from on high.

So I appreciate the kindness,
Of thirty days of treasured gild.
Will endeavor to create my finest-
In honoring your gift to the hilt.

To all of my past, present and future special Angels-
Since I've no way of knowing who you are, I thank you truely in verse.

Lovely write. This is also one of my favorite paintings by Rossouli. Both of you seem to have a gift for translating spiritual experience into art. Bravo.

Lovely penning and so befitting. It reminds me of the scripture of how men should treat their fellow men as they may entertain angels unawares. My best, Belle

Susanne, this is a sweet poem. I like the imagery, and yet it is the simplicity of this that has the most power. A very strong and faith filled message, and a really neat match to the image used above.
