Remember the Rainbow

God Promised He would never destroy the world with a flood,
His Covenant with us is all about His neverending love.
He gives us grace and redeems us with his blood,
Hues of color support the olive branch in the mouth of the dove.
When the rain had fell washing all hurts away,
There it is the band of color in the blue sky.
A reminder of His bond with us everyday,
No greater love exists and would never die.
He takes His paint brush to express magnificent art,
Always one of the signs to help us believe why it appears.
Any promise He planted inside our heart,
He will do what He said just continue to draw near.
