WRITE.
My hands shudder
With the frigid cold
Of fright.
WRITE.
My mind searches
For the right grammar,
Word,
Sentence.
WRITE.
My inner editor screams
A thousand insults,
Unwilling to be banished.
WRITE.
My head aches
With a million stories
Yet to be told.
..if only I could.

Great write! I love it. I know the feeling. Writer's block is actually the reason why I didn't log onto AP for a while.
"WRITE.
My head aches
With a million stories
Yet to be told.
..if only I could."
Keep writing.

I never thought i would read a poem about writing poems with writers block. You did it extremely well though. I'm sure most reading this know exactly what you mean when you wrote:
"My head aches
With a million stories
Yet to be told"
Thats what I enjoy most about poetry, freedom to just write out those stories in any way we can. Great write and good luck with the contest.
