Reality Vs. The Inner Voice

It's hard to get through this alone,
But there are some things you just gotta do.
Through the good and the bad, kid, you'll make it.
You just gotta realize so many people care for you.

Stop wasting your time trying to fix things,
Because in the end it still won't mean anything at all.
You're just absolutely worthless, so why bother?
Look at you; you're a monster; you deserve to fall.

Count them up one by one, and I promise there's a lot-
Why do you think they all turn to you to help them win the fight?
Your opinion still matters when you get down to it!
Tomorrow may be better, just make it through the night.

You still can't impress her in any way, shape, or form,
And they're all just using you anyways -shye stay?
Just give up now, kid, who's to say you might win?
After they're through, they'll dump you like the rest, wish you away.

Can't you see you're just depressed? That you're being rediculous?
Listen to what you're saying, you sound like you did before.
You stand out, you're not invisible,!
There's still a lot to keep on living for.

You're fading into the background again.
You've lost all that there is to hold on to.
Give up the fight kid, it's not worth it,
And there's no one left to save you.

The only person who can make you happy is you,
But that's something you have to work on.
Just forget the rest of the world for a momet,
And remember Fate hasn't yet won.

You can't even get through school without breaking down.
You're nothing but a fake, a fraud!
You won't be able to amount to anything,
And you can't fix people, stop making it your job.

There's still a chance for you, kid,
They're something in which you can't run out.
Fixing depression takes time and work,
You just have to realize what life is relly all about.

Look at what you're become, kid-
A soulless monster with no heart.
You couldn't save them, and you can't save you.
You deserve to be torn apart.
