Out of the lives of men’s children,
You heal what was torn.
They’re living here as pilgrims;
Your holy Child was born.
Deeper than bone the Truth of God,
far b’yond flesh resides His Spirit.
Conviction’s Truth like a prod,
a pierce so firm we must heed it.
Out of the hearts of men,
a focus on their Abide.
He forgives all their sin.
For us He had died.
Know His will, know the Lord,
walk the word He teaches.
Be most still, be adored,
love Him and what He preaches.
Out of the mouths of babes,
You have perfected praise.
They are bold, not afraid;
their God of Strength is raised.
Born of the Word like a mother,
they are lovely, these children of God.
Every sister, every brother,
their hearts are temples, Him they laud.
Place in me a love for Truth,
even to my own hurt.
Make repentance my love’s proof,
my time here is short.
Grant me, Lord, a holy sight,
born of a heart repentant.
Make my walk my given might,
appearing to many as innocent.

I love the line:
Grant me, Lord, A Holy Sight
In time everyone will be wishing to be granted a holy sight and a walk with Jesus.
