I’ll take you places you’ll never see.
You'll walk in shoes of men you’ll never be…..
You’ll learn to talk in tongues so strange
The world you view will so soon change….
So come inside and let all go.
You’ll learn in French to say hello…..
I take you to the top of mountains….
Or toss a penny in some great fountains…
You’ll learn of love and loves great feats.
You’ll run with bulls down curvy streets….
I’ll teach you the when and why.
And you my friend might even cry…..
Always safe you are with me.
So turn the page it is the key….
You’ll learn great stories that last the ages
Just lift your hand and turn my pages
Or better yet to play and sing
Or learn of men…like Kennedy and King
And all because you turned a page
And chose to walk the world’s great stage……..

This has a beautiful flow to it. I'm not crazy on the space between each line but I think the words are well done and there is a lot to be taken in here. Well done

Welcome to Allpoetry
Hello, dreambig1958
There is such an element of truth within your words; I agree that books open doors that may have remained closed otherwise. You never know what secrets lie locked away until that knowledge is awakened within.
Just a tip: The double-spacing was a little awkward. This would look a bit better broken up into smaller stanzas; also, correct punctuation is key, for misspellings or grammar errors can give a word a completely-different meaning from the one you intended.
I hope that you continue to share your work with us at AP, and don't forget to keep your mind open. You never know what you might discover
If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know
