Well-packed and seeking
Ignorant to the blood on our hands.
Import implosion
Ignoring the motion
No need to cash in our stand.
Wearing the blood of a thousand torn kids
To preserve our nation, to keep ourselves rich
Immigrant bargain, "who said life was fair?
When I need a new TV" and down go their shares.
Bleeding shirts and ties and gadgets
They won't stop until we see fit.
Author notes
(This is kinda a response to those who oppose immigration; they moan when they're a different colour or speak differently, but we don't do anything about the rich immigrants that live here, dodge our taxes, and create more inequality. People moan about immigrants coming in, yet forget that virtually every piece of everything we see nowadays is made in a factory where 90 hour days is a way of life in a country and conditions far enough away from us to not be bothered. I guess immigration doesn't really matter when it suits us?)
