The road never seems to get passed
The Holy Cross.
Every step taken forward;
a decision must be made.
The closer we get to God;
the more frequent the temptations.
Though, we have the power
to resist the strongest evils;
still we get distracted,
falling into the pit.
Perhaps oneday,
the road will be removed;
leaving only the fire.
As hard as life can be,
with things thrown in our direction;
everystep, everyday;
it's a free-will choice.
What greater gift of love
could we possibly have?
The giving of oneself to another.

Superb
Aye, 'tis a fine write, with an excellent message. Regardless of religious differences, it's how one treats his/her fellowman that really counts. Very well written.
