Leaving behind the burning ashes of the world now,
destruction brought on by mankind's tainted soul.
Wandering aimlessly down a new pre-choosen path,
presented by the eternal cross they seek to follow.
Knowing their souls had shown the Lord they served,
ones who had been faithful having no regrets ever.
They'd done what was shown to be right and true inside.
Realizing how few there was allowed in crossing over,
greived stricken were all those who ingored the truth.
Praying for the forgiveness of the guilt that they bare,
found it's way too late to change their present course.
Causing pause to accept their own sealed eternal fate,
redemption's road could not be theirs for them to cross.
They'd done what was shown to be selfish and prideful inside.
Walking into the eternal light of loving and peacefulness,
joined together by the strongest bond He has for us.
Rejoicing in how life will be now that they are with Him,
strength from within was built by their simple trust.
Receiving all the promises that awaited them there,
tears of joy fell steadily down to the walk they took.
They had done what was shown to be faithful and just inside.
Leaping into the flaming pit as their only recourse given now,
Cries of anguished where all the soldiers heard so loud.
Begging for that one more chance to ask for all forgiveness,
faced with knowledge there was no way that could happen.
Destroying that special promise of the special given after life,
faced with judgement's day so many had their last laments.
They'd done what was shown to be angish and torment inside.
There's no special ticket that gains us into His hand except the cross he bared
For all the sins we've committed, showing us the way to travel in our mortal life.
