All hail the queen robed in white
whose beauty is hushed as snow!
Yours is the dower of sunbeams. Aglow
with winter's princely kiss, gone is the night!
The crystal chalice hoards sun's gold light,
you, of regal mien--bells on each toe . . .
all hail the queen robed in white
whose beauty is hushed as snow!
With resurrected breast take flight,
fair one, from your dust of snow. Forego
soggy petticoats and laments of woe
for Easter's crown as gardens recite:
"All hail the queen robed in white!"
whose beauty is hushed as snow!
Yours is the dower of sunbeams. Aglow
with winter's princely kiss, gone is the night!
The crystal chalice hoards sun's gold light,
you, of regal mien--bells on each toe . . .
all hail the queen robed in white
whose beauty is hushed as snow!
With resurrected breast take flight,
fair one, from your dust of snow. Forego
soggy petticoats and laments of woe
for Easter's crown as gardens recite:
"All hail the queen robed in white!"

dear sister,
I have missed you very much ...
a few days ago, I was thinking of you and wondering if you finally succeeded to publish your long-awaited illustrated flower-maiden-poetry-book ... did you ?
and this morning, desirous to take a vacation from allpoetry and writing alltogether, I said to myself : I will log in and see if there's anything or anybody that will make me change my mind ...
and here you are ...

thank you,
marion

She never wore nor was adorned in dress, so lovely as these words profess before! And the stylized form fits here so very nicely too.

Dear Sister,
I've missed your exquisite floral scented bouquets of poetry. Your words are as charming as ever and I love the tone and feel of this piece. A celebration of beauty.
