I could feel the pressure building and I knew that freedom could not be far off.
Suddenly I gazed up to find the exit I had been praying for.
I was sure that If I squeezed hard enough I would be able to solider my way through the Cracks blocking my path.
I fought relentlessly, using all the strength I possessed until eventually I caught my first glance of the outside world.
to my horror I realised that I was suspended high above a dark expanse of water so I rushed back into to the comfort of my tunnel.
Alas I knew I could not stay there forever so I mustered up my courage and shot forward, straight through the cracks, creating a loud gusto of wind as I plummeted straight into the waters below.
everything was quite and I began to feel a glimmer of contentment
until...
suddenly the waters around me began spinning ferociously. I had been caught in a whirlpool and was being sucked down to my watery death!
Who ever knew that life could be so stressful for a poo?

Thank you
for your entry into this contest and for following the rules, including the reading and commenting one! Indeed a cute story and one that is something I might write! I would prefer to see a more poetic form versus one near prose but it is ok, the story brought the intended smile!

well this was certainly unexpected, I wasn't sure what was happening either until I read the line 'to my horror I realised that I was suspended high above a dark expanse of water so I rushed back into to the comfort of my tunnel.' this piece was fairly amusing. I thought it was actually quite clever

Well done, best of luck in the contest LOL
