hearing tears
from the sweet cage
i talk
and touch the pain away

i crush and press
caress
tease
nudge
and slap
and push
and scream
and thrust
and spank
the pain away

but you cry
and wail
and shake
and collapse
as i rock you in my cradle

you cry in tides
uncontrollably

because the distance
remains



as you are lost

can t sing you back

so i only want you
to miss me
until
i become meaningless once again
