the absence of light
the absence of dark
formless and without space
this is my essence
ironic that these are the ingredients for life, no?
there is zero here
yet infinite potential
and by my mere thought so begins time
and the unfolding
so that now there is no zero
there is only infinity and a potential for zero
so closely linked and yet impenetrable
to you, but to me it is all the blink of an eye
until I close my eyes to you
you will ask how can something
come from nothing?
I say to you without my presence
nothingness is all you have
and all you ever will have
the empty space which you inhabit
is the vibration between vacuous no-things
but by my grace I have infused my
supreme consciousness into the void
and inspired you to experience
the ethereal for me
you will ask,
how can you be nothing and everything?
and you will cry,
this ultimate potential well is
unfathomable within utter nothingness!
yet here I am speaking to you
and here you are asking
why? why any of this?
I say to you who seek the answers
continue to bask in the unfathomable
and contemplating infinity
and be swallowed up and perplexed
but contemplate emptiness
and the infinite shall find you
give gratitude for my presence
and ask for humility
and do all things in service to me
and in that moment you will find what you really search for:
acceptance
that one day you will be brought back to
the nothingness from which you came

What does it mean to you?

hmm one thing about this contest, I wasnt looking for entries that made god to be all powerful, but i saw where you went with this, and the irony behind it, but i still couldnt get past the broad scope of it, the impersonal tone of this was off putting, i read this and appreciated your insight, but it didn't draw me in.
