All the world is a song

Life is based on the music of nature.
The rustling trees lull the spirit to sleep,
While the calling birds awake it in the morn.

The calm brook by the willow provides a soundtrack for tears.
The gentle footsteps in the night enhance the imagination.

Summer rain pinks on the pavement
While thunder claps in the distance.

Cats purr their excitement, which calms their masters.
Dogs' eager barks make their masters giddy

Even in death, our final sigh is music to the earth.

Author notes

Without music, life would be a mistake.
Frederich Nietzsche
