A question of love or a question of rights
Either way I can’t make sense
The reasons behind this sad charade
Are a self imposed defense
Equality means nothing to you
Just a casualty of war
You pick your side without thought
Of what you’re fighting for
The same injustice committed
Time and time again
This battle is all in your head
And it’s time for it to end

Love is not a battleground
It doesn’t discriminate
It’s part of what makes us human
Yet you want to eradicate
The chance for others to share
That feeling you embrace
Your greedy, your hateful, your full of shit
I see no love in this place
