Push-me-I'll
push-you-back
and-add-a-backhand
slap-to-the-equation
that evergoing dance down
grand avenue but please
watch for the cars in the
other lane.
and I shudder
you tug my ponytail
hold me to your lap
as I scribble
in the fog of your windshield
we've parked now.
I pretend with you
that I don't see
or feel your touch
instead
let it dust over
my ribs
I'll push my feet
between you and the
seat-cover to keep
my toes warm.
finger-trace your
black and white - so
close
to the truth - belt
is this real?
you tell me what isn't
so often but I can never
speak for you.
Indescribable:
I cannot even
mention it.

congrats on the trophy. At first I thought this poem to be about abuse it seemed to be very violent to me in the beginning. Thanks for sharing this and thanks for entering it into my contest.
