Feed me wine
from your tired smelling mouth
wine from the depts
of your poetic heart
wine tasting of passion
and Cubian cigars-
drink my tears
to nourish your art
and I will lay beneath you
as earth beneath the sun
my body like a ripe peach
wetting your bed
with unforgivable sweetness
and with the moist sweat
that catches in my hair...
I will warm your face
with the breath of my mouth
breath smelling
of life and almonds
and I will cry out in passion
and in place of words
I will give tears
tears that will wet your fingertips
like a warm summer rain
and caress your flesh
with everlasting love-
water that will heal
and renew...

a very sensual poem, im not sure of the wording in the second line though(smelling) but other than that this was so beautifull to read, with such soft tones which flowed so beautifully the background is perfectly fitting too.

Your words are like silk that blows on a summer breeze. They are teasing to the touch and settle beneath the skin to give the reader chills at their brilliance. What a soothing work. I am not a fan of redundancy but your use of the word; "wine" thrice engulfed me. A Beauteous work of poetic romance. Too bad you can't bottle these words and use them for the "heal and renewal" you penned.

water that will heal and renew? well, water, my dear, I reckon you could turn it to wine, just from the sheer seduction of the piece. A style that I have tried once, and yes, I think I am discovering a new style in free verse, to which my improvements are assured to pieces like this.
